Lisa Thompson, LPC
Managing Director, Professional Services
Lisa has over 20 years of experience in business management, counseling, executive coaching and human capital consulting. Her skills as a coach along with her corporate background allow her to address both organizational and individual development needs in a practical and realistic manner.
Prior to Alta Mesa Group, she was in a senior management role with a major human capital consulting organization, running a successful multi-million dollar regional operation with full P&L responsibility. Earlier in her career she worked in sales and corporate account management with a major management consulting and employee benefits corporation, with clients across a wide spectrum of industries.
Her early career history includes a successful counseling business where her work included assessments, executive coaching and consulting for individuals and corporate entities. She also provided training, seminars and consulting for individuals and corporations on human resource development topics ranging from dealing with difficult employees to team building and managing change.
In addition to her credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor she is also is certified in numerous evaluation and assessment instruments. Lisa is active on the Board of Attitudes & Attire a non-profit organization focused on helping disadvantaged women re-enter the workforce. She received her BAAS degree in Public Relations and Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas and her M.Ed. in Counseling and Guidance from Texas A&M in Commerce, Texas.

Robert Pearson
Chief Executive Officer, Pearson Partners International
Robert “Bob” Pearson has over 30 years of senior level experience in executive recruiting and business management. He is well known for his ability to coach CEO’s, Senior Leaders and Organizations.
Prior to founding Alta Mesa Group, Robert Pearson was the Chairman and CEO of LAI Worldwide Inc., the third largest global recruiting firm. He was instrumental in taking LAI public, the first firm to do so in the recruiting industry. His experience spans over 25 years in the recruiting field at Russell Reynolds Associates as the Executive Director and as the Southwest Managing Partner of Lamalie Associates Inc. in Dallas, Texas before being elected the Chairman and CEO. Following several sizable acquisitions and a large secondary public offering, the company was sold to TMP Worldwide Inc.
Mr. Pearson’s early career started with McKinsey & Co. Inc., where he was a Senior Engagement Manager, then with Raymond James and Associates Inc., as VP Corporate Finance. He then ran Pearson Inc., a midsized manufacturing firm in Wisconsin.
Mr. Pearson received a B.S.E.E. from Michigan State University and an M.S. in Industrial Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
